But before they could take up residence in Arizona and Texas, the owners of the Dairy Queen Dairy near Bakersfield, a dairy farm for more than 50 years, are facing a tough time finding new buyers.
Like many American dairy producers, the owners have been in a decline for years and have been forced to liquidate their businesses. However, after years of trying, they finally found a buyer who could help them find a new home.
That is where the buyers come in.
The owners, who have been working with a buyer who is interested in finding them a new place to open a new business, finally found a buyer with a vision for the property who is willing to finance it.
“I’d like to have a very high end, elegant look at the high end business,” said the buyer. “Very high end, expensive, fine dining. A place where people come from all over the world to eat and have a great time.”
This week, the Dairy Queen and the buyers of the property met with the local newspaper to announce that the Dairy Queen dairy farm, which is expected to be worth up to $3 million in the next year, is leaving California and moving to Texas.
The deal is still in the works and still requires a lot of paperwork, but the sale of the property could cost as much as $3 million, said the buyer.
“We have a buyer who wants to buy the Dairy Queen Dairy for a little bit over $4 million,” said the buyer. “And, the Dairy Queen Dairy being sold, we’re going to do a lot of work on the property to make it attractive, and it
