Amid rumors Pete Davidson is dating Emily Ratajkowski, Dionne Warwick shoots her shot with former ‘SNL’ star Kenan Thompson, and the Internet freaks out because ‘The Walking Dead’s’ Andrew Lincoln has gone and gotten himself a new haircut.
As the week unfolded, we discovered our favorite tweets had been replaced with “The Walking Dead” jokes. “I’m actually glad I get to do a bit more writing for this week,” David wrote. “Because the TV stuff really is bad,” he quipped.
In today’s edition, we talk to David’s dad about his favorite characters, ‘Game of Thrones’ actor Vito, and the possibility of a “Gentlemen’s” season 2.
What was your reaction when you first heard about Emily Ratajkowski’s romance with David?
Oh, my god. I couldn’t believe it. My first thought was, “Oh, no.” My dad’s a writer and he wrote that she was his type of woman. I mean this from my mouth: “Why would he want to date someone like her?” So, it’s flattering that he would write that. And it’s flattering that he would want to date her. I mean, she is a great looking girl. She’s beautiful. She’s very sexy. I love her to death.

Your first reaction to seeing you and David together was, “Oh, no.”
I can look back later on in my life and be like, “This was the kind of relationship that we would say is probably a bad idea,” but at the time, it was like, “Oh, well, I guess that has to be for a reason.” And at least I have my dad to thank for that. He was like, “I don’t care if he’s my son, I don’t mind if he’s your boyfriend.” Because I actually grew up watching him, so he was like, “I don’t mind. Do whatever you want.”
I guess it’s like, “How is that different from being gay?” You think you’re dating your dad? Really?
I think, like, he sees me as a normal person. And if he’s happy and I’m happy, then that’s the best relationship
