‘Dancing with the Stars’: Jessie James Decker sent home, says show was ‘hardest thing I’ve ever done’
ABC star Jessie James Decker lost his spot on the competition’s dance floor after his “dance of the night” routine at Tuesday night’s taping of Dancing with the Stars wasn’t as good as some had hoped.
Following his performance, which he calls a “proud moment” in his life, Decker claimed that the ABC show was “the hardest thing I’ve ever done.”
“I don’t think I deserve it,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I think we all deserved to go out there and make it happen, and it just did not.”
“I don’t ever want to take Dancing with the Stars off the TV again. I would just sit here and take my breath away…to know that I was dancing on the biggest stage and I was doing it better than I ever had in my life. I’m so happy with the result.”

The 25-year-old actor is currently signed to Sony Pictures’ action film The Equalizer 2, a project he says he has no interest in seeing make it to the big screen.
“I’m not going to be the guy who’s going to sit here and be the star of this movie and make millions of dollars and go out and drink with people in Hollywood and go out and have a drink with them, and go out and have sex, and go out and have a drink with friends,” the former Dancing with the Stars contestant explained. “That’s not who I am as a man. I don’t want to be that guy.”
He continued: “I want to be a guy with a lot of integrity who doesn’t drink, who isn’t involved with any kind of violence, who doesn’t put himself in dangerous situations and I think Dancing with the Stars is a great event that not only entertains people, it educates people and it helps people to make their dreams come true.”
